Hyperbaric Oxygen Technologies Incorporated provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to patients at your healthcare facility where this innovative “standard of care” treatment modality is not immediately available.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a means of providing additional oxygen to the body tissues. This is done by placing the patient's entire body under increased atmospheric pressure in a closely monitored air-tight chamber. During HBOT, the patient breathes (and is surrounded by) 100% oxygen for a prescribed period of time.

The result of the increased pressure and oxygen concentration greatly increases the oxygen-carrying capacity of blood -- and in turn greatly improves the supply of life giving oxygen to the tissue.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has shown, through controlled clinical trials, to be effective in treating the disorders. Further, these disorders are approved for treatment by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society and are reimbursable by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance.

There is clinical research being currently being conducted on the effects of HBO therapy in children with Cerebral Palsy and people with Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke.

Our country is in the midst of an enormous rise in the need for wound care. It is estimated that 5 million Americans suffer from chronic wounds today mostly attributed to secondary to diabetes. Currently there are over 17 million diabetics in the United States. A high percentage of these patients have non-healing wounds that require advanced wound care. Sadly, these wounds often lead to amputations that further debilitate those afflicted, complicating their health status even further. HBO treatment has a good success rate in healing these difficult wounds and ultimately avoiding amputations. Experts say about 15 percent of the elderly population suffers from chronic wounds, and the number of individuals 65 and older is expected to double over the next 30 years. The cost to the individual and the healthcare industry can be huge. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been proven successful in the treatment of these complex problem wounds, ultimately saving healthcare costs and, most importantly, improving a patient's quality of life.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Technologies can deliver HBO therapy on-site to any qualified treatment facility. There is no capital outlay for equipment or staffing required from the hosting facility. Hyperbaric Oxygen Technologies provides a turn-key HBO operation, including equipment, personnel, education, and processes. In this arrangement, the facility has the opportunity to receive a volume of new patients and increased facility revenue.

Our vision is to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to any qualified hospital, making this advanced treatment available to any physician who needs it for their patient. We want to provide our service to any healthcare system where it is not currently available. We want to make sure all hospitals, physicians and patients have an equal opportunity to receive the best in medical care and treatment.
